Indeed we can pass an unsaved move update with the target setup like a location. This way assign_try will use those value for the search but as it use ModelStorage.write and ModelStorage.copy, it does not save those modified values.
In review300001002 I just added a test to keep the behavior over time.

I have the need to try to assign a move on a specific location but I can not update the from location because I also need that remaining quantities being still planned from the original location.
So the idea is to allow to pass to assign_try a setup like the from location or the lot when searching available quantities.
