The problem of renting is that we need to setup the build environment for each release (which is about once per month) and this can take times as we have to compile all the dependencies (to be not arch specific).
Maybe we can rent it from the cloud providers when required.
For example scaleway has an offer of Apple Silicon starting at 0.10€/hour with a minimum of 24hours.
brew has partial support for the ARM based mac: https://github.com/Homebrew/brew/issues/10152.
As far as I see all our dependencies formulae are already ported.
So it seems that we only need to have such machine to make the build.
