tryton-client doesn't recognise changes to date format
Tested with desktop client on Debian GNU/Linux (buster) and Python 3.7.3
Testing versions of the client between 5.0.4 and 5.8.12: changing the date format (Administration/Localization/Languages/English) doesn't impact the format used in the date fields. Tested by looking at the date field for Fiscal Year end date.
Testing client 6.0.0: changing the date format (Administration/Localization/Languages/English) is working. However, the new format is only applied after exiting the client and logging in again. Specifically:
- change the (Administration/Localization/Languages/English) date format
- exit from the client
- log in to the client again
- look at a date field, notice it is now using the correct format
It would be very useful to identify the commit that fixed this issue in 6.0.0 and backport it to other branches and packages maintained outside Tryton's repositories.
It would be useful for 6.0.0 and later to warn users that they must log out and log in again for certain changes like this to take effect.
